Dr Evangelos Hatzigiannakis (Male) is an Agronomist, holding a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in water resources modeling and monitoring. He is a Researcher (Research Director, Grade A’) at the Soil & Water Resources Institute of Hellenic Agricultural Organization - DEMETER. His research interests focus on flow in open channels, irrigation networks, precision irrigation and water and soil resources management. Within his 32-year working experience, he has participated in more than 78 research projects focused mainly on water and soil resources management, monitoring, including FP7, Prima, Horizon and Life projects. Head of the ISO17025 accredited laboratory of the Institute of Soil and Water Resources in Sindos for the execution of Physicochemical Determinations in Soils-Water-Plant Tissues. Coordinator or Scientific Officer or Head of the Greek Research Team - coordinator of an ongoing research project in thirty-four (34) research projects. Inventor for a Patent from OBI (patent) national and International pending in the technology of treatment of waste of three-phase mills with repeated filtration in an artificial soil tank with a special bio mix of compost. Reviewer in Greek and international scientific journals. He has the following publications: thirty-eight (38) publications in SCI International journals, eight (8) publications in international journals outside SCI, four (4) publications in national peer-reviewed journals, five (5) monographs, one (1) book, one (1) book chapter and a large number of presentations at international and national conferences with and without reviewers. He has 400 citations in SCI International journals and 520 in Google Scholar.
