Dr Aspasia Efthimiadou has been a researcher at the Hellenic Agricultural Organization-Demeter (ELGO-DIMITRA) since 2017. She belongs to the permanent research team of the Soil and Water research Institute and her research is on soil fertility, soil and plant microbiome, plant nutrition, sustainable agricultural practices and precision agriculture. She has graduated as an Agriculturalist and Civil Engineer. She has an MSc in Environmental sustainability, MBA and a PhD from the University of Reading. Her Post doc research was conducted in the Agricultural University of Athens. She has 20 years of academic experience and has worked in the Agricultural University of Athens, in the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.), Open University of Cyprus and in the University of Thessalia in various projects. Experienced in the establishment of field experiments to evaluate novel cultivation techniques, fertilizers and plant protection products, as well as plant biostimulants.
