Dr. Charalampos Doulgeris is a Principal Researcher in Hydrology and Agricultural Hydraulics at the Soil and Water Resources Institute of ELGO-DIMITRA. He has 25 years of research experience, and his interests include a) management and simulation of water resources with emphasis on the environment, b) irrigation water management and deficit irrigation, c) mathematical models of water flow and mass transport in soils and aquifers, d) hydrological-hydraulic models of rivers and lakes, e) climate change impact on water resources and their ecosystems, and f) environmentally minimum lake level and river flow. He has participated in more than 30 research projects, either as scientific coordinator or as project section leader, and is the author of more than 100 publications, 50 of which are in scientific journals and conference proceedings. His teaching experience includes academic lectures and seminar presentations on agricultural hydraulics and water resources management.
